TGR is a proud member of 1% For The Planet, BICEP, Surfrider Foundation, and Protect Our Winters. Known for its media and lifestyle products, TGR has extensive production experience on all seven continents including commercial work, branded entertainment, original television programming, and 30 award-winning feature films. Founded in 1996 by Steve and Todd Jones, TGR works with the top athletes in their respective disciplines to capture, celebrate, and bring to life the passion and enthusiasm associated with action sports. Teton Gravity Research is the exclusive launch partner for the Gyro-Stabilized Systems camera. The Cineflex Elite, the current leading gyro-stabilized camera system, maxes out at 2K (just above 1080p). Widely predicted to become the new worldwide standard for HD programming, 4K footage approaches the limits of what the human eye can process.

The portable platform allows TGR to capture stunning, Ultra HD cinema, about four times the resolution of regular 1080p HD. The GSS C520 is the first fully upgradable and interchangeable portable gyro-stabilized system, able to accommodate a range of existing cameras like the RED Epic and Sony F55 that shoot at 4K resolution, as well as future advancements in camera technology. MEMS (micro-electromechanical system)-based gyroscopes and accelerometers are utilized.

Mounted on the underside of a helicopter, the 4K bird's-eye-view footage is remarkably stable. The stabilizer also has an inertial measurement unit which has a gyroscope and accelerometer close to the camera mount point. The end goal is to stabilize a camera for earth observation purposes. A set of three gimbals, one mounted on the other with orthogonal pivot axes, may be used to allow a wheel mounted on the innermost gimbal to have an orientation remaining independent of the orientation, in space, of its support. No auxiliary junction unit is required and with in-flight calibration, GSS systems have an unbeatable horizon reference.Award-winning action sports production company and lifestyle brand Teton Gravity Research (TGR) has become the first to acquire the new Gyro-Stabilized Systems (GSS) C520 system, the most advanced five-axis gyro-stabilized camera platform in the world. A gyroscope is an instrument, consisting of a wheel mounted into two or three gimbals providing pivoted supports, for allowing the wheel to rotate about a single axis. GSS systems do not have ITAR restrictions, and Vector Steering allows for look-down capability with no gimbal lock. Cameras and lenses can be swapped out in less than 30 minutes, quicker than any other gyro-stabilized system on the market. GSS Systems are the smallest and lightest system in the world to integrate all of the most popular Digital cinema and Broadcast cameras. With 6-axes of movement via VectorSteering™, this gimbal can handle full-sized cinema cameras with impressive lenses! As with all GSS gimbals, the Cinema Pro+ 520 is well-suited for a variety of applications including aerial, ground vehicle, marine mounted, and more. These motorcycle riding cameras offer a ton of versatility and can be mounted as helmet cameras or on various parts on the bike for whatever it is youre.

With more camera and lens payload configurations than any gimbal in its class, the Cinema Pro+ 520 is the big daddy of gimbals! The Cinema Pro+ 520 is optimized for larger cinema payloads and integrates more camera and lens payload configurations than any gimbal in its class. USG-211 gyro-stabilized gimbal with a Full HD camera can be mounted on any fixed-wing or VTOL Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, helicopter, autogyro or small manned aircraft.
